NVIDIA's ecosystem of data center platform and node designs spans from single node HGX/DGX systems to large multi-node NVLink domain rack architectures. These designs are core to NVIDIA's growing enterprise and cloud provider businesses and combine NVIDIA GPUs, NVLink, InfiniBand networking, Grace CPUs, and a fully optimized AI and HPC software stack.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team focused on performance for data center platforms and products, covering pathfinding, pre-silicon readiness, verification, post-silicon, and production.
- Define processes and execution methodologies to deliver on performance goals.
- Work directly with major customers to understand performance requirements, concerns, and limitations, aligning their roadmap with NVIDIA’s roadmap.
- Deliver benchmarking and telemetry infrastructure to influence design choices effectively.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Software, Platform, and HPC teams on product positioning, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy.
- Deliver executive-level briefings on performance and performance per watt internally and to key customers/partners.
- Mentor architects and engineering teams to grow them into future leaders.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years overall experience in system architecture and design.
- 5+ years managing a team.
- Hands-on technical experience and demonstrated excellence in complex software and hardware design environments.
- Background in data center/server workloads and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with SoC system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.).
- Ability to operate in highly matrixed organizations while holding a leadership position.
- Strong interactive, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ways to Stand Out
- Experience in data center scale performance and efficiency (performance per watt).
- History of working with high-profile customers.
- Familiarity with benchmarks and workloads commonly assessed by cloud service providers and HPC customers.

Salary and Benefits
The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 471,500 USD. Your base salary will be based on location, experience, and peer pay. Additional equity and benefits are available. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
