We are seeking energetic, hardworking Software Quality Assurance Engineers to join our Customer Support Team and provide world-class support. Strong Windows OS knowledge and in-depth experience with various PC hardware and debugging technologies are required. The selected person will work closely with customers, developers, product managers, and internal teams on existing and upcoming NVIDIA products, new features, and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work with software developers, program managers, and customers to investigate reported issues, assist in root cause determination, and verify reported defects are fixed.
- Replicate customer / end-user reported issues.
- Provide software technical support to customers and partners for the latest NVIDIA products and technologies.
- Analyze and reproduce issues reported by OEM customers and partners.
- Test NVIDIA products on customer-specific platforms to ensure compatibility and provide timely communication to cross-functional groups.
- Triage, isolate, and resolve reported problems.
- Develop and implement software tools that improve productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience, with 2+ years customer support or software-hardware testing experience required.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues is a must.
- Deep understanding of the Windows operating system.
- Extensive scripting using Python is required.
- Deep knowledge of PC architecture, supercomputers, and computer clusters.
- Extensive experience building, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs or laptop systems.
- Experience with debugging tools, memory dump analysis, and remote debug.
- Strong interest in or knowledge of CUDA, OpenCL, and deep learning / AI.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
Ways to stand out
- Strong interest and knowledge of Generative AI and various large language models (LLMs).
- Automation experience using C/C++, Ansible, Java, JavaScript.
- Familiarity working with NVIDIA GPU hardware is a strong plus; prior experience in PC game testing is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to handle multiple projects independently.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 128,000 USD - 201,250 USD (final base salary determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
