Details

We are seeking a skilled, motivated Senior Software Technical Program Driver to lead efforts in crafting compute software solutions used by enterprise customers, academic institutions, start-ups, and industry partners. The role focuses on driving software development and release processes for cloud service providers, automotive and OEM customers, and coordinating across hardware, firmware, and software teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Software Development Managers, Engineers, Product Marketing, Customer Program Management, Quality Assurance, and logistics to establish and implement streamlined processes for advanced compute software solutions.
  • Work closely with customers and Customer Program Managers on software issues and technical feedback from OEMs, CSPs, and NeoCloud partners.
  • Lead status meetings, proactively address challenges and customer concerns, and serve as the central point of contact for building and upholding release schedules and the prioritized release plan of record.
  • Partner with multi-functional teams to collect requirements, define priorities, and drive planning and scheduling for all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, identify risks, and formulate risk management strategies for multiple parallel work streams.
  • Improve product development and software release processes and collaborate with engineering management to optimize development workflow and engineering efficiency.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable tasks and keep customers informed about issue statuses.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party partners across time zones to resolve customer issues and oversee customer releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in a similar or related role, with 5+ years driving down software/hardware customer escalations.
  • Hands-on experience with software development for hardware platforms.
  • Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex products to customers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and creatively resolve technical and resource issues.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking with the ability to build consensus to ensure program success.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles, including experience with configuration management tools and automation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, and strong communication and technical presentation skills.

Ways to stand out

  • Familiarity with infra software stack or reference architecture programs for NeoCloud partners.
  • Expertise with Agile SW development tools and a solid understanding of operating systems, datacenter servers, and automotive principles and standards.
  • Experience developing/managing software application, system software, or firmware stack programs.
  • Previous experience coordinating activities across hardware, firmware, and software applications.
  • MBA or PMP certification/training is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (depending on level and location):
    • Level 4: 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD
    • Level 5: 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
