NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive innovation with healthcare and life sciences customers across North America, focusing on the ground-breaking potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI. You will partner with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, medical device manufacturers, and health tech startups to design, implement, and optimize GPU-accelerated AI systems for clinical decision support, medical research, patient engagement, and scientific discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through end-to-end GenAI adoption: requirements gathering, proof-of-concept development, deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization.
  • Design, develop, and optimize solutions tailored for healthcare and life sciences applications (e.g., AI scientists, autonomous lab workflows).
  • Architect and implement generative AI workflows: data ingestion, synthetic data generation, domain-adapted pretraining of foundation LLMs, fine-tuning reasoning models, and orchestration of multi-agent LLM systems on NVIDIA GPU-accelerated platforms.
  • Keep up to date on AI advancements in healthcare, including agentic AI techniques and foundation models for protein, small molecules, and genomics.
  • Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations that showcase NVIDIA technology accelerating healthcare innovations.
  • Engage with healthcare executives, IT managers, data scientists, clinicians, and developers to promote adoption of AI-powered healthcare applications.
  • Share findings through training sessions, white papers, or blog posts.
  • Travel may be required for on-site customer engagements.

Requirements

  • MS, PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or related fields with strong applied experience.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven track record in software development related to AI/ML in healthcare or life sciences.
  • Deep experience with end-to-end generative AI solutions: data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, agentic tool development, pipeline deployment and evaluation.
  • Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, LangChain, or building custom frameworks).
  • Experience deploying and scaling agentic AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills; able to present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience building, deploying, and optimizing agentic AI systems specifically for healthcare and life sciences, scientific software vendors, and data platforms.
  • Understanding of biomedical concepts and modalities (sequence, structure, function, clinical phenotypes).
  • Familiarity with AI deployment/inference technologies such as TensorRT and TRT-LLM.
  • Thought leadership through publications or presentations on AI/ML in healthcare and life sciences; experience collaborating with pharma, techbio, and healthcare providers.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges by level: Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD; Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.
