NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive innovation with healthcare and life sciences customers across North America, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI. You will partner with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, medical device manufacturers, and health tech startups to design, implement, and optimize GPU-accelerated AI systems for clinical decision support, medical research, and patient engagement.
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through end-to-end GenAI adoption: requirements gathering, proof-of-concept development, deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization.
- Design, develop, and optimize solutions tailored for healthcare and life science applications (e.g., AI scientists, autonomous lab workflows).
- Architect and implement generative AI workflows: data ingestion, synthetic data generation, domain-adapted pretraining of foundation LLMs, fine-tuning reasoning models, and orchestration of multi-agent LLM systems on NVIDIA GPU-accelerated platforms.
- Keep up to date on AI advancements in healthcare, including agentic AI techniques and foundation models for protein, small molecules, and genomics.
- Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations showing how NVIDIA technology accelerates healthcare innovations.
- Engage with healthcare executives, IT managers, data scientists, clinicians, and developers to promote adoption of AI-powered healthcare applications.
- Share findings through training sessions, white papers, or blog posts.
- Travel as needed for on-site customer engagements.
Requirements
- MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or related fields with strong applied experience.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Proven software development track record related to AI/ML in healthcare or life sciences.
- Deep experience with end-to-end generative AI solutions: data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, agentic tool development, pipeline deployment and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (explicitly mentions PyTorch and Langchain or building custom frameworks).
- Experience deploying and scaling agentic AI solutions in cloud environments (examples given: AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ways to stand out / Preferred
- Experience building, deploying, and optimizing agentic AI systems for healthcare and life sciences, particularly for scientific software vendors and data platforms.
- Understanding of biomedical concepts and modalities (sequence, structure, function, clinical phenotypes).
- Familiarity with AI deployment/inference technologies such as TensorRT and TRT-LLM.
- Demonstrated thought leadership (publications, presentations) on AI/ML applications in healthcare and life sciences and experience collaborating with pharma, techbio, and healthcare providers.
Benefits & Additional Information
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and comparator roles):
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
- Eligible for equity and company benefits.
- Applications accepted at least until October 17, 2025.
