This role is for a networking-savvy Solutions Architect on the NVIDIA Solution Architecture team, supporting NVIDIA networking solutions for data center workloads and driving end-to-end technology solution integration with strategic customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Consumer Internet and IT Services customers on data center networking infrastructure projects as a solution architect; guide customer journey to server/network/cluster deployments and lead discussions about data center network topologies, compute, and storage.
  • Lead presales and architecture activities with hyperscale and industry customers and implement networking solutions including Spectrum switches, ConnectX network adapters and BlueField DPUs.
  • Conduct regular technical customer meetings for project/product roadmap, feature discussions and introductions to new technology solutions.
  • Identify new business/project opportunities for NVIDIA products and solutions in data center and AI applications; collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management and Sales teams.
  • Lead and support presales activities, POCs, hands-on engagements, and marketing activities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical training presentations and workshops.

Requirements

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other Engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of Solution Engineering or similar Sales Engineering experience.
  • Proven background in data center/cloud provider network architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Ethernet switches and routers, congestion control methods, and network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSEC.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with network adapters (NICs) and DPUs, Ethernet TCP/IP and RDMA network configuration and performance tuning in data centers.
  • System-level understanding of server architecture, BMC, PCIe devices, network adapters, Linux OS and kernel drivers.
  • Superb communication and liaison skills to work with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Ways to stand out

  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA systems/SDKs (e.g., CUDA, DOCA).
  • Experience with SONiC and/or Cumulus switch operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with InfiniBand/RoCE products (e.g., ConnectX adapters and Spectrum switches).
  • Knowledge of AI workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges:
    • Level 4: 184,000 USD – 287,500 USD
    • Level 5: 224,000 USD – 356,500 USD
