Details

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Networking (Ethernet/InfiniBand) Solutions Architect to join the NVIDIA CSP Networking SA team. The role focuses on working with cloud service providers (CSPs) and hyperscalers to design, implement, and support large-scale AI/HPC networking infrastructure. The position involves customer-facing work, system design, automation, and long-term operational support for large AI clusters.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI/HPC infrastructure for large CSP customers and their end users.
  • Support operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters, focusing on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams: open bugs, document workarounds, drive customer feature requirements, and suggest improvements.
  • Interact with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement large-scale networking projects.

Requirements

  • BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, InfiniBand fundamentals, and data center architecture.
  • Proficiency in configuring, testing, validating, and resolving issues in Ethernet and InfiniBand networks, especially in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of HPC/AI networking protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with network switch/router platforms such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, and EOS.
  • Strong customer-focus and leadership skills; ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Linux or networking certifications.
  • Knowledge in link-level performance and diagnostics.
  • Experience with high-performance computing architectures.
  • Experience with GPU-focused hardware/software.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Base salary range: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD (final base salary determined by location, experience, and internal pay equity).
  • Eligible for equity and benefits (link provided in original posting).
  • Applications accepted at least until October 3, 2025.
  • Location: US (Washington indicated) with Remote option.
