NVIDIA is hiring a Robotics Solutions Architect focused on Simulation and Robotics AI to help customers adopt NVIDIA full-stack technologies and build/deploy solutions around Generative AI, Physical AI, and other GPU-accelerated technologies. The role engages directly with developers, researchers, data scientists, and internal business and engineering teams to drive product adoption and deliver technical solutions for robotics development, simulation, training, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to scope and develop solutions for training robotics perception and policy models, 3D simulations, synthetic data generation, software-in-the-loop testing, AI-enhanced manipulation and navigation workflows using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Omniverse, Cosmos, and related platforms.
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, Product, and other Solutions Architect teams to drive NVIDIA full-stack adoption; lead proof-of-concept evaluations and provide feedback to guide product improvements.
- Share domain expertise with the NVIDIA solutions architect community and stay current on advancements in Robotics, Physical AI, and Generative AI.
- Provide technical mentorship to partners and customers.
- Perform in-depth analysis and optimization of state-of-the-art AI models for best performance on current and next-generation GPU architectures.
- Build collateral (notebooks, GitHub repos, demos, etc.) for workflows such as robotics model training and simulations, world foundation models, neural reconstruction, and rendering techniques.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on, validated experience in robotics development and/or simulation.
- Experience writing production code in Python and with ROS/ROS2; proficiency with Linux.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with one or more 3D workflows and tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender) or robotics simulation frameworks (e.g., NVIDIA PhysX, Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo).
- Strong understanding of robotics systems including kinematics, dynamics, perception, and control.
- Experience with reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms, standards such as OpenAI Gym, or deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Ability to communicate ideas and code clearly through blog posts, GitHub, presentations, and demos.
- Comfortable collaborating across engineering/research, product, sales, and marketing teams; strong verbal/written communication and technical presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and sharing findings.
Ways to stand out
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim or Isaac Lab, and relevant data formats like OpenUSD and URDF.
- Prior experience with humanoid robot development and policy training.
- Applied experience with industrial robotics workflows (motion planning, navigation, control, localization, collision avoidance, computer vision, point cloud processing).
- Experience deploying ML/DL models at scale on cloud GPU clusters.
- Development experience with NVIDIA software libraries, GPUs, and performance profiling.
Compensation & Additional information
- Base salary range: 184000 USD - 287500 USD (final base determined by location, experience, and internal pay equity).
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
- Applications accepted at least until July 29, 2025.
