Details

NVIDIA networking designs and manufactures high-performance networking equipment enabling some of the most powerful supercomputers in the largest data centers globally. These platforms power sophisticated AI and HPC workloads via NVIDIA GPUs interconnected with technologies such as InfiniBand, Ethernet, and RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet).

Responsibilities

  • Support networking technologies such as Spectrum-X and assist customers with technical challenges and requirements during pre-sales activities.
  • Develop proof-of-concept materials for innovative technologies targeting early adopters.
  • Build trust with customers to understand their needs and help design and deploy NVIDIA networking platforms.
  • Address complex, highly visible customer issues.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams to develop new customer features.
  • Assist with product requirements alongside engineering and product marketing teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in real-time embedded computer software.
  • Knowledge of Linux kernel, Ethernet, and IP protocols.
  • B.Sc, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive debugging skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and directly with customers.
  • Proven experience writing firmware-level code for networking products.
  • Familiarity with sideband management protocols including NC-SI, MCTP, and RMII.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience coding in multiple programming languages, from low-level C to high-level languages such as Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and AI workflows.
  • Experience with Linux environment and Linux networking.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA DPUs, RoCE, and RDMA concepts.
