Details

NVIDIA Networking designs and manufactures high-performance networking equipment that enable the most powerful supercomputers and largest data centers. With distributed NVIDIA GPUs interconnected by technologies such as InfiniBand, Ethernet, or RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), we make large-scale ML/AI and HPC platforms possible. We are seeking motivated, personable, and independent individuals to join our team as a Senior Solutions Architect focused on Spectrum‑X and low-level networking software/firmware.

Responsibilities

  • Support networking technologies such as Spectrum‑X and work with customers on their technical challenges and requirements during pre-sales activities.
  • Develop proof-of-concept materials for innovative technologies for early adopters.
  • Build trust with customers, understand their needs, and help design and deploy NVIDIA networking platforms to run AI and HPC workloads.
  • Address sophisticated and highly visible customer issues.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to develop new features for customers.
  • Help define product requirements alongside engineering and product marketing.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with real-time embedded computer software.
  • Knowledge of the Linux kernel, Ethernet, and IP protocols.
  • B.Sc, M.Sc, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience debugging complex issues; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven experience with firmware-level code development for networking products.
  • Background with common sideband management protocols including NC-SI (Network Controller Sideband Interface), MCTP (Management Component Transport Protocol), and RMII (Remote Management Interface).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be willing to work directly with customers (customer-facing / pre-sales engagements).

Preferred / Ways to stand out

  • Coding development experience across multiple languages: low-level C and higher-level languages such as Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and AI workflows.
  • Experience with Linux environments and Linux networking.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA DPUs, RoCE, and RDMA concepts.
  • Experience with InfiniBand, Ethernet networking at scale.

Benefits and Additional Information

  • Base salary range (varies by level and location):
    • Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
    • Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
