NVIDIA Networking designs and manufactures high-performance networking equipment that enable the most powerful supercomputers and largest data centers in the world. With distributed collections of NVIDIA GPUs interconnected by networking solutions such as InfiniBand, Ethernet, or RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), we make powerful ML/AI platforms possible. We are seeking motivated, personable, and independent individuals to join our team as a Solutions Architect focused on Spectrum-X and switch-centric networking for AI and HPC workloads.
Responsibilities
- Support networking technologies such as Spectrum-X and work with customers on their technical challenges and requirements during pre-sales activities.
- Develop proof-of-concept materials for innovative technologies for use by early adopters.
- Gain customers' trust and understand their needs to help design and deploy cutting-edge NVIDIA networking platforms to run AI and HPC workloads.
- Address sophisticated and highly visible customer issues.
- Work closely with R&D teams to develop new features for customers.
- Help define product requirements alongside engineering and product marketing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with computer software and networking.
- Knowledge of the Linux kernel, Ethernet, and IP protocols.
- Extensive knowledge and experience debugging issues involving Ethernet switches/routers and network protocols in the L2 to L4 layers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and willingness to work directly with customers.
- B.Sc, M.Sc, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field — or equivalent experience.
Ways to stand out
- Coding development experience across multiple languages (low-level C to higher-level languages such as Perl, Python, and shell scripting).
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and AI workflows.
- Deep experience in Linux environment and Linux networking.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Ethernet/Infiniband switches, RoCE, and RDMA concepts.
Compensation
- Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and peer pay. The base salary range provided:
- Level 4: 184,000 USD – 287,500 USD
- Level 5: 224,000 USD – 356,500 USD
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
