We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to pursue opportunities in commercial integration of GPU acceleration for 6G release tools, the NVIDIA Aerial framework, Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin (AODT), and Aerial L1 and L2+ SDK. This role requires becoming a trusted technical advisor and leader to ecosystem collaborators and clients across the telecommunications domain, focusing on deep learning, data science, and AI applied to telecom.
Responsibilities
- Drive internal validation and benchmarking of the NVIDIA Aerial framework and AODT with reference applications, pipelines, and toolkits.
- Invent and deliver proof-of-concept demonstrations to drive customer adoption.
- Develop, improve, and support software for 5G network Baseband Unit (BBU) using the Aerial framework.
- Develop and support network digital twins using the AODT tool set.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and provide feedback to Aerial SDK partners/customers.
- Engage with customer field trials and technical teams; be hands-on in the lab with test equipment, remote radio units, and UEs.
- Educate customers on new NVIDIA technologies and platforms and their potential applications in signal processing and radio access networks.
- Document knowledge and create training materials, white papers, blogs, and articles.
- Act as an industry leader with vision on integrating NVIDIA technology into AI, HPC, and embedded GPU architectures for advanced applications.
Requirements
- Experience developing PHY/MAC layer or baseband unit (BBU) software in C/C++.
- Background with LTE/5G MAC and PHY from both systems and low-level 3GPP specification perspectives.
- Familiarity with network digital twin technology and digital twin toolsets (AODT).
- Ability to switch between high-level systems views and low-level detailed views of complex wireless systems.
- Comfortable using wireless lab equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, power meters, and similar test gear.
- Exposure to CUDA/GPU programming.
- MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of related industry experience in software development and systems engineering.
- Understanding of telecommunications radio device design and implementation in a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in the telecommunications domain.
Preferred / Ways to Stand Out
- Background with radio access network systems or device design, telecommunications regulatory compliance, and environmental critical design processes.
- Experience with modern application deployment practices (Docker/containers, Kubernetes).
- Experience with modern deep learning software architectures and frameworks.
- CUDA programming and optimization experience.
- Experience with NVIDIA Aerial SDK.
Compensation & Other Details
- Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and internal pay bands.
- Base salary ranges provided:
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
