Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company powering observability for millions of users worldwide. The Solutions Engineering team are the customer-facing product experts who enable Grafana Labs' growth by educating potential and existing customers, delivering demos, technical enablement, and working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision and strategy to customers.
- Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities using advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill and credibility.
- Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, hands-on enablement and technical evaluations to prospects and customers.
- Communicate customer feedback and competitive insights to internal Product and Engineering teams.
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problem contexts.
- Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge-base articles and other enablement materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales / solutions engineering experience.
- Strong judgment, collaboration and leadership for complex and varied assignments.
- First-class written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with remote internal teams and global customers.
- Ability to listen to customer requirements, ask the right questions, and translate needs into solutions using Grafana technologies.
- A technical mindset with a desire to grow technically.
- Must be located in Switzerland.
Nice to have / Bonus
- Experience with open source technologies.
- Experience in the metrics / monitoring / observability space.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.
Compensation & Rewards
- Switzerland OTE (On-Target Earnings): CHF 198,000 - CHF 236,000 (actual compensation varies by level, experience and skillset).
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
