Senior Solutions Engineer

Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company that builds observability tools used by millions worldwide. The Commercial Solutions Engineering team are customer-facing product experts who enable Grafana Labs' growth by educating potential and existing customers through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations and ongoing interaction. This role partners closely with Sales and provides feedback into Product Management and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Join an early, high-growth team to solve technical and customer problems.
• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy.
• Own technical engagement with customers and help close opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations to potential and existing customers.
• Proactively communicate customer feedback and the competitive landscape to internal teams.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs uncovered during engagements.
• Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other public and internal enablement material.

Requirements

• Located in Mexico City.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• 1-3+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration with remote, international teams and worldwide customers.
• Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically; candidates may come from coding bootcamps, post-sales roles, or engineering backgrounds.
• Self-motivated, initiative-taking, creative, and able to work in a startup environment with varied and complex duties.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first company and collaborating across time zones.

Compensation & Benefits

• Mexico OTE (On-Target Earnings) range: MXN 2,497,000 - MXN 2,852,000 (actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset).
• All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
