Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse with more than 20M users of Grafana around the globe. Grafana is used to visualize metrics, logs and traces and is available via Grafana Cloud (managed) or the Grafana Enterprise Stack (self-managed). The Grafana ecosystem includes projects such as Grafana Mimir (metrics), Grafana Loki (logs) and Grafana Tempo (traces).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill and credibility
• Deliver product and technical presentations, demos and hands-on enablement to potential and existing customers
• Conduct technical evaluations and ongoing customer interaction to ensure successful adoption
• Communicate customer feedback and the competitive landscape to Product Management and Engineering teams
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems
• Contribute to enablement content: documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles and other public or private materials

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience
• Strong judgement, collaboration and leadership in complex assignments
• First-class written and oral communication skills for collaborating with remote internal teams and worldwide customers
• Ability to listen to prospects/customers, extract requirements, ask the right questions and translate them into solutions using Grafana technology
• A technical mindset and desire to grow technically
• Must be located in Germany (role is remote but requires candidate location in Germany)

Bonus

• Experience with open source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC

Compensation & Rewards

• Germany OTE (On-Target Earnings) range: EUR 124,000 - EUR 147,800
• Roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
• Actual compensation may vary by level, experience and skillset
