Senior Solutions Engineer

Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with a global user base for Grafana and related observability projects. The Commercial Enterprise Solutions Engineering team are customer-facing product experts who enable Grafana Labs’ growth by educating potential and existing customers, delivering demos, technical evaluations, and working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical owner for customer engagements and help close high-velocity opportunities.
• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and hands-on enablement to potential and existing customers.
• Provide a feedback loop from customers into Product Management and Engineering, and drive product conversations based on customer needs.
• Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other internal and public enablement materials.
• Maintain advanced competitive knowledge and technical credibility in customer-facing scenarios.

Requirements

• Ideally located in Atlanta, GA (role listed as United States — Remote).
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring/observability space.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for working with distributed internal teams and worldwide customers.
• Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically; candidates with post-sales or engineering backgrounds (or coding bootcamp grads) are welcome.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, international team and exercise strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.

• Observability technologies referenced: Grafana Mimir (metrics), Grafana Loki (logs), Grafana Tempo (traces).
• Experience with metrics/monitoring, technical demos, and customer enablement is expected.

Compensation & Benefits

• United States OTE range: $204,000 - $239,000 (actual compensation varies by level, experience, and skillset). Roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
