Senior Solutions Engineer

Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company whose observability stack (Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo) is used by millions worldwide. The Solutions Engineering team are the customer-facing product experts who enable growth by educating potential and existing customers, running demos, doing hands-on enablement, technical evaluations, and partnering closely with Sales to qualify and close opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities using technical credibility and competitive knowledge.
• Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and hands-on enablement to potential and existing customers.
• Run technical evaluations and ongoing customer interactions to ensure success and adoption.
• Communicate customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering; drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
• Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge-base articles, and other enablement materials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Must be located in Sweden.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership to handle complex assignments.
• First-class written and oral communication skills for remote collaboration with internal teams and worldwide customers.
• Ability to listen to customers, extract requirements, and translate them into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.
• Technical mindset and a desire to grow technically.

Bonus (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Open Source technologies.
• Experience in the Metrics / Monitoring space.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.

Compensation & Rewards

• Sweden OTE (On-Target Earnings) range: SEK 1,119,000 - SEK 1,345,000 (actual compensation varies by level, experience, and skillset).
• All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
