Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with more than 20M users of Grafana worldwide. Grafana is an open source visualization tool used to monitor metrics, logs and traces. The company helps customers with the Grafana Cloud (managed) and Grafana Enterprise Stack (self-managed), including components such as Grafana Mimir (metrics), Grafana Loki (logs), and Grafana Tempo (traces).

Role summary

The Solutions Engineering team are the customer-facing product experts who enable Grafana Labs' growth by educating potential and existing customers. Solutions Engineers deliver demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing engagement, partnering closely with Sales to qualify and close opportunities and acting as a communication channel to Product Management and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to present Grafana's value proposition, vision and strategy
• Own technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities
• Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations
• Conduct hands-on enablement and provide technical guidance to customers
• Communicate customer feedback and competitive insights to internal teams
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems
• Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles and other enablement materials

Requirements

• Must be located in Spain
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills for remote collaboration with internal teams and customers
• Ability to listen, ask the right questions, understand customer requirements, and translate those into solutions using Grafana Labs technology
• Comfortable with complex and varied assignments; strong judgment, collaboration and leadership
• Technical mindset and desire to grow technically

Bonus / Nice-to-have

• Experience with Open Source technologies
• Experience in the Metrics / Monitoring space
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC

Compensation & Rewards

• Spain OTE (On-Target Earnings) range: EUR 107,250 - EUR 127,650
• Roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
• Compensation is country-specific; candidates applying from other locations will discuss market-specific pay range with a recruiter
