NVIDIA is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Observability and Monitoring team. You will contribute to innovative solutions, optimize operations using new technologies, and help deliver end-to-end projects that meet ambitious performance, scalability, and reliability goals. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of world-class software solutions, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to industry standards.
- Architect and implement software systems that meet ambitious performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements, providing mentorship and encouraging a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
- Advocate for standard software engineering methodologies such as code reviews, testing, and continuous integration to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Drive innovation by exploring and integrating new technologies and methodologies that improve engineering capabilities.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering an environment focused on continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of demonstrable experience in software engineering roles, with a focus on team leadership and project management.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing software solutions that solve complex business problems and delivering end-to-end projects.
- Expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java, with a deep understanding of software development principles.
- Strong background in software architecture, scalability, reliability, and systems design.
- Experience with software development best practices: code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies across diverse industries (preferred).
- Masterβs degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- The base salary range provided: $168,000 - $264,500 USD for Level 4, and $200,000 - $322,000 USD for Level 5 (actual base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and market factors).
