As a System Architect at our grid, you play a key role in realizing ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. With your interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for delivering high-quality digital products that transform user interactions and advance our technological capabilities; you will drive the architectural vision for cutting-edge digital banking solutions, ensuring our mobile applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Domain Architects, Product Owners, and engineering teams to define, implement, and maintain a robust architecture that powers seamless customer experiences on mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Strategy: Develop and maintain architecture roadmap for mobile solutions and cloud platforms. Align architecture with business priorities and customer needs.
• Mobile Expertise: Lead Android and iOS development teams with mobile best practices. Design solutions that integrate mobile devices and cloud computing.
• Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners and teams for a shared technical vision. Align mobile designs with broader portfolio strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Engage in PI Planning to refine architectural runway with Agile delivery. Introduce innovations to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Governance and Standards: Define and enforce architectural principles and standards. Ensure compliance with security, quality, and performance in mobile development.
• Knowledge Sharing & Leadership: Mentor engineering teams in mobile development and cloud computing. Promote continuous learning through presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

Must have:

• Proven experience as an Engineer with expertise in mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and preferable knowledge on cloud computing concepts.
• Strong understanding of mobile app development, including performance optimization, security, and scalability.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for driving innovation and fostering team growth.

• Excellent salary: €5.847 - €8.353 pm
