NVIDIA is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare by harnessing the power of GPU computing and AI to redefine data analysis in fields such as genomics and personalized medicine. This role is focused on integrating genomic solutions into mainstream healthcare by defining, implementing, productizing, and delivering high-performance computing software for a wide range of biology applications used worldwide. You will join a dynamic development team working on bioinformatics algorithm development and collaborating with industry and academic partners.
Responsibilities
- Study and explore innovative techniques in bioinformatics, graph algorithms, and machine learning; develop, deploy, and deliver new computing software for diverse bioinformatics applications used globally.
- Perform detailed performance analysis and optimization to ensure optimal performance on current and next-generation GPU architectures.
- Collaborate with lighthouse clients and academic collaborators to understand their current and future challenges and provide outstanding HPC solutions.
- Work closely with hardware engineering, CUDA engineering, and AI research groups to apply the latest technology to enable novel genomic analysis at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with C/C++ and CUDA.
- Experience with the design and implementation of sophisticated algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with GPU programming, debugging, and performance tuning on NVIDIA GPUs.
- Knowledge and understanding of parallel programming, thread programming, concurrency control, memory management, and scalability.
- Strong understanding of computer system architecture and operating systems.
Ways to Stand Out
- Hands-on experience using LLMs, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Graph Transformer Networks, particularly those applied to genomics data.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to effectively guide and influence within a multifaceted technical environment.
- Ability to decompose sophisticated problems into smaller, fairly independent modules.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (USD):
- Level 3: 148,000 - 235,750 USD
- Level 4: 184,000 - 287,500 USD
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
