This role focuses on developing and improving automation tools and infrastructure to elevate developer experience and scale testing and verification workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and improve automation tools and infrastructure, enhancing flexibility, maintainability, and the developer experience.
  • Develop tools and frameworks in Python, bash, C, and C++ to improve and optimize testing workflows.
  • Drive test automation initiatives, finding innovative ways to automate and scale software development and verification workflows.
  • Expose defects and constraints; isolate and debug issues to find root causes and contribute to solutions until closure.
  • Estimate and prioritize tasks effectively to develop realistic delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to report progress by generating effective and actionable reports.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, bash, C, and C++ for developing testing tools and frameworks.
  • Proven ability to write effective and maintainable code.
  • Strong ability to identify, isolate, and debug software defects.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-functional, geographically diverse teams.

Ways to stand out

  • Knowledge of automotive quality standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.
  • Experience building automation tools and infrastructure for software development and verification.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions):
    • Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
    • Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
