Senior Systems Software Engineering, Analytics - Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer focused on analytics for autonomous vehicles. The role centers on driving safety and security solutions using data analytics, working with large-scale driving datasets, and collaborating with test engineers and developers to improve validation and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop methodologies and tooling to demonstrate the sufficiency of on-road and offline testing.
• Perform analyses measuring exposure rates of objects, events, and environments in naturalistic driving data.
• Work jointly with test engineers, developers, and other team members to identify and close coverage gaps.
• Automate workflows and reports to support product releases and deployments.
• Create dashboards and visualization tools to track testing coverage and identify trends.
• Develop and share standard methodologies in analytics and data-driven validation with colleagues.

Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent experience in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Strong background in Python and SQL (or similar languages) while working with large datasets.
• Previous experience in data or statistical analysis.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey data meaningfully to drive decisions.

Ways to stand out

• Track record of building scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• 2+ years of experience in autonomous vehicle validation or development.

Compensation & Other Details

• Base salary ranges by level:
  • Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
  • Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
• You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
