NVIDIA is searching for a highly motivated, creative engineer with experience in system software security to join the Data Center Systems Software team. In this role you will focus on securing NVIDIA’s Data Center Systems, including security firmware, Root of Trust (RoT) for boot, attestation, recovery, Out-of-Band management and debug. NVIDIA is a leader in AI, High-Performance Computing and Visualization; the role contributes to securing enterprise-class GPU-based data center systems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver security features required for NVIDIA’s Data Center business.
- Engage with internal NVIDIA teams and external partners to drive implementation and deployment of security features and systems.
- Design, implement and deliver innovations to secure AI Data Center systems with focus on Root of Trust (RoT) for boot, attestation, recovery, Out-of-Band management, debug, and overall security firmware development.
- Design and develop optimized security solutions using and following industry standards (examples listed below).
- Participate in software/firmware security lifecycle activities: threat modeling, unit testing, code audits, CI/CD, and incident response.
- Deliver end-to-end high-end enterprise server solutions from definition through customer deployment.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related degree (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of meaningful software and firmware security engineering experience.
- Excellent comprehension of security fundamentals.
- Experience with software development and lifecycle/security standards and processes (threat modeling, unit testing, incident response, code audit, CI/CD).
- Experience in Python, scripting and system programming.
- Background with modern server architectures and enterprise data center deployments.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively and remotely to accomplish complex goals.
- Solid experience delivering high-end enterprise servers from definition to deployment.

- Industry standards such as TCG DICE, SPDM, PLDM, Redfish

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (location & level dependent):
- Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
