NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Software Security Engineer to join our Data Center Systems team. This role focuses on factory and security provisioning for devices used in NVIDIA data center systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory, security controls, and end-to-end factory provisioning processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the factory provisioning process for NVIDIA data center systems, ensuring that devices are programmed with the appropriate OTP settings. This includes understanding the specific OTP requirements for different devices and ensuring that these settings are correctly implemented during the manufacturing process.
- Develop and enforce security controls for devices used in NVIDIA data center systems. This involves provisioning devices to meet stringent security standards and ensuring that all security measures are in place and functioning correctly.
- Drive the end-to-end factory provisioning readiness for NVIDIA data center systems. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the provisioning process are aligned and that any potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- Work closely with hardware, software, and business teams to transform new security features from concept to reality. This includes designing, developing, and testing provisioning processes to secure AI Data Center Systems.
- Design and implement security innovations for AI Data Center Systems, focusing on securing the supply chain.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of factory programming tools and processes.
- Expertise in OTP configuration for embedded devices.
- Knowledge of secure supply chain practices.
- Proficiency in cryptographic primitives and their application in device security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and remotely with others to accomplish complex goals.
- Ability to self-start and work autonomously on complex cross-functional problems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of meaningful software and firmware engineering experience, with a focus on security.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Expertise in platform security for x86 server architectures or AI Data Center Systems.
- Prior experience in provisioning data center embedded devices, such as BMC and MCU.
- Prior experience with data center supply chain security, covering both hardware and software.
- Prior experience in driving end-to-end readiness in a complex and fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
