The Autonomous Vehicles Program Management team is searching for a creative and experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the end-to-end development of new autonomous driving features for NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform. You will be a key leader responsible for the software development execution of our autonomous driving software stack, working with automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, research institutions, and startups that use NVIDIA's platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead automotive software development across multiple engineering teams related to ADAS/Autonomy features.
- Work with engineering leads to define product roadmaps, develop schedules, and drive execution and tracking across the organization.
- Coordinate release content and efforts with multiple program managers and engineering managers who own individual components.
- Identify and handle risks, and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
- Establish metrics to assess and improve product quality and execution.
- Regularly communicate program status and key issues to management and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of recent Program/Product Management experience, including driving planning and execution of complex software engineering projects and releasing commercial products.
- Proven experience in Automotive, Perception, Path Planning and/or AI.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate on global projects across teams and time zones.
- Experience with Jira and/or JAMA sufficient to guide engineering teams on their use.
Ways to stand out
- Proven experience leading end-to-end development of ADAS or self-driving features.
- Experience as a software engineer, software QA, or systems engineer.
- Background in a fast-paced Automotive OEM or supplier.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary ranges by level:
- Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD per year
- Level 5: 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD per year
