Details

The Automotive Vehicles team is searching for a creative and expert Senior Technical Program Manager to help bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle solution to market. You will work with multi-functional engineering teams across vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into the AV software platform while meeting NVIDIA and automotive standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering teams to create and manage project roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate release content and efforts with multiple program/engineering managers who own individual components.
  • Balance risks and address problems that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Work closely with leadership to define measures of release quality using industry standards.
  • Establish metrics to assess release health and generate KPIs to measure progress and track trends; analyze trends and drive improvements.
  • Guide teams to operate in an accurate Agile/Scrum manner and assist in improving processes and procedures.
  • Help streamline day-to-day operations.
  • Regularly communicate program status and key issues to management and across teams.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years recent Program/Project Management experience driving planning and execution of software engineering projects and releasing commercial products.
  • Experience managing multiple successful releases with short release cadence in a multifaceted environment.
  • Proven track record leading and delivering medium to large programs and projects, and driving process improvements.
  • Ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflows in medium to large organizations.
  • Previous experience as a software developer or software QA engineer (understanding development/QA pressures is required).
  • Experience with Jira and/or JAMA to the extent you can comfortably guide engineering teams in using these tools and executing in an Agile/Scrum manner.
  • PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Experience with new product introduction and program managing research teams is a plus.

Compensation and application details

  • Base salary range (Level 4): 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD per year.
  • Base salary range (Level 5): 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD per year.
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
