As a Senior Technical Program Manager within the global IT PMO team, you will lead a portfolio of programs in infrastructure domains such as networking, compute, or storage, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving delivery of high-priority programs on time, within scope, and on budget.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
- Own and manage a portfolio within Infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Lead quarterly portfolio planning, driving alignment on dependencies, risks, and prioritization.
- Evaluate and prioritize new program demands based on strategic value, capacity, and impact.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Deliver clear, data-driven progress updates to collaborators, tracking against identified important metrics.
Technical Program Management
- Define programs, build compelling business/technical cases, and secure funding approvals.
- Coordinate execution of high-priority programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Align program outcomes with organizational strategy while proactively managing risks and issues.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports to collaborators, showcasing progress, challenges, and mitigation plans.
Requirements
- BS/MS or equivalent experience in Engineering specific to Computer Science.
- 12+ years of industry experience with a focus on infrastructure program/project management.
- Proven deep customer and technical savvy from driving complex programs in IT infrastructure (networking, compute, storage).
- In-depth technical knowledge of IT infrastructure across automation, platforms, software development, and observability.
- Experience with infrastructure standards and methodologies to optimize quality and efficiency; familiarity with continuous integration/deployment models for large organizations and integrating such practices into dynamic infrastructure environments.
- Supreme leadership and collaboration skills across broad and diverse cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to deliver data-driven progress updates and recommendations.
