Details
We are in the midst of a revolution where artificial intelligence is helping us accelerate all aspects of our lives. NVIDIA's mission is to accelerate this revolution. By combining NVIDIA's strengths in simulation (Omniverse), world models (Cosmos), foundation models (GR00T), and compute, we strive to bring general intelligence to robots.
This role is based in Santa Clara, CA and requires on-site work at least 2 days a week. Applications for this job will be accepted at least until April 6, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes. NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program execution for robotics software initiatives: requirements, schedules, risk mitigation, and releases.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across product, simulation, model training, deployment, on-robot validation and more.
- Provide independent technical perspective — challenge assumptions, identify architectural risks, and ground decisions in sound engineering principles.
- Drive process improvements to the product lifecycle (PLC) and lead release planning.
- Facilitate technical reviews, triage blockers, and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify and handle multi-functional dependencies and risks proactively.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years in Technical Program Management delivering software products.
- Hands-on robotics experience in one or more of: robot learning, simulation-based development (synthetic data, domain randomization), model deployment to edge/robot platforms, robot evaluation/benchmarking, or sensor integration.
- Strong grasp of foundational concepts in software development and Agile methodologies.
- Proven success managing complex, multi-team programs with competing priorities.
- Technical depth sufficient to evaluate engineering proposals, ask probing questions, and offer informed feedback — not just track schedules.
- Ability to think long-term and build consensus to make programs successful.
Ways to Stand Out
- Prior software development or robotics engineering role.
- Direct experience with Isaac Sim, Isaac ROS, Omniverse, or equivalent simulation/SDK tools.
- Familiarity with ML training pipelines, reinforcement learning, or imitation learning workflows.
- Background in autonomous vehicles, manipulation, or mobile robotics platforms.
- Experience navigating hardware/software co-development cycles.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions):
- Level 4: 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD
- Level 5: 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD
