Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with a global user base and products used for observability (Grafana Cloud, Grafana Enterprise Stack, Mimir, Loki, Tempo). We are hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter on an initial 6-month contract to support R&D and product hiring. This is a remote role for candidates in the Eastern Time zone only; the recruiter will report to a manager based in Amsterdam. The role is expected to start in January with delivery expected by February.

Responsibilities

• Run full-cycle recruitment for technical and product roles across R&D and other teams.
• Engage passive and active technical talent internationally and present candidates to hiring teams and senior leaders.
• Source candidates proactively using networks and tools, and manage candidate outreach and pipeline.
• Generate offers and hand off new hires to People Ops Specialist for onboarding.
• Own high-volume recruiting across a variety of roles globally.
• Work closely with the Talent Team to deeply understand hiring requirements, team dynamics, and hiring challenges.
• Communicate effectively across time zones in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a technical recruiter, ideally in the SaaS/tech space.
• Experience working directly with senior leaders on technical hiring.
• Demonstrable sourcing experience and comfort engaging passive candidates.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Proven ability to consistently hire ~5 external candidates per month.
• Willingness to support hiring across GTM and R&D roles as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and facing off to different time zones.
• Available to work a 6-month contract in the United States (Eastern Time zone only).

Compensation and Schedule

• In the United States, targeted daily compensation: approximately $450–$500 per day (approximately $57–$62 per hour).
• Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset.
• Compensation ranges are country-specific; recruiters will discuss market-specific pay ranges for applicants outside the listed location.
• Contract role expected to start in January with delivery by February.
