Details

We are looking for someone passionate about quality assurance who will collaborate with cross-functional groups. Senior SWQA Test Development Engineers at NVIDIA write scripts to automate testing, build tools for the QA team to improve productivity and optimize test plans. You will identify weak spots, craft creative test plans to break software and identify potential issues, and have a strong impact on the quality of NVIDIA's enterprise product.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance QA efficiency, including automating test case generation, defect detection, and regression testing.
  • Implement AI-driven solutions to optimize test coverage and identify high-risk areas in software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt AI tools that improve workflow automation and reduce manual effort.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams to understand test requirements and take ownership of product quality.
  • Develop test plans, design test cases, execute testing via automation and/or manually, and compose test reports.
  • Build and maintain complex test environments.
  • Manage bug lifecycle and work with other groups to drive solutions.
  • Assist in the architecture, design, and implementation of SWQA test frameworks.
  • Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugging to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by R&D, and raise issues if not fixed.
  • Use AI development tools and be adept at creating detailed test cases, automating them, increasing code coverage, identifying valid bugs early, and resolving them swiftly.

Requirements

  • BS or higher degree (or equivalent experience) in CS, EE, CE or equivalent, with 5+ years QA experience in the Telecom industry.
  • Experience using AI tools for QA tasks and familiarity with AI-powered testing frameworks and platforms that improve process efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the ability to integrate AI tools into existing workflows.
  • Background with LTE/5G MAC and PHY from both system and low-level 3GPP spec perspectives.
  • Proficient experience with Keysight equipment.
  • Proficient Linux experience and shell / Python / Perl programming skills.
  • Extensive experience in test case development, test automation, and failure analysis.
  • Good QA intuition, knowledge and experience in software testing, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, motivation, strong work ethic, and teamwork orientation.

Ways to stand out

  • Rapid ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Background working with NVIDIA GPU and/or DPU hardware (strong plus).
  • Experience using or managing cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Docker.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges by level:
    • Level 3: 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD
    • Level 4: 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD
  • Eligible for equity and additional employee benefits (see NVIDIA benefits).
