NVIDIA is searching for a Deep Learning algorithms architect to develop artificial intelligence (AI), signal processing algorithms and applications for NVIDIA GPU-accelerated wireless platforms. AI is transforming how we collect, communicate, inspect, and analyze different kinds of sensor data that impact a wide variety of applications and workflows. NVIDIA provides the tools, technologies, and expertise to meet these challenges with smarter, faster applications.
This role requires deep understanding and the ability to architect signal processing algorithms together with large foundation models to advance AI/ML applications for the Wireless Communications market. Practical experience building adaptive signal processing algorithms, models and tools is critical.
Responsibilities
- Architect, analyze, develop and prototype deep learning algorithms and solutions as a key member of a growing software team.
- Partner with the 6G team to apply AI optimizations in algorithms for Radio Access Networks (RAN) and Packet Core (6GC).
- Collaborate with software, research, and hardware teams across geographies to solve critical problems.
- Analyze the interplay of hardware and software architectures on future applications and optimize accordingly.
- Support customer engagements and third-party software providers; collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Developer Technology teams.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of extensive experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Signal Processing.
- Strong foundation in DSP fundamentals, including adaptive signal processing and communications theory (frequency domain filtering, noise reduction).
- Algorithm development experience and knowledge of deep learning concepts and architectures such as CNNs, Transformers and Large Language Models is a significant plus.
- Prior experience developing 5G RAN algorithms, performance optimizations and benchmarking, and acceleration architecture is a definite plus.
- Experience working with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-learn is critical.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively across geographies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range (dependent on location, experience, and level):
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
- Level 6: 272,000 USD - 425,500 USD
