The Silicon Solutions Team focuses on productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive products.
Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure for product definition and specifications to build and market the world's fastest power-shipping products.
- Design models and tools to automate and optimize critical stages of product design.
- Emulate silicon and system-level behavior and encapsulate dynamic methodologies to push products to physical limits accurately and reliably.
- Model crucial next-generation product features and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive them to production.
- Provide creative solutions to sophisticated silicon and system-level problems enabling product shipment.
- Drive new product initiatives across departments by translating market requirements and new hardware/system features into infrastructure needs, tool implementations, and process flows.
- Make critical trade-off decisions on software features analyzing impacts on products and company processes.
- Collaborate with architects, product engineers, chip and board designers, software/firmware developers, applications engineers, and operations teams in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in related hardware/software positions.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; experience working with offshore teams preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital design, circuit analysis, algorithms, computer architecture, silicon speed and power, BIOS, drivers, and software applications.
- Experience with Perl/Python, C/C++, databases, and web applications.
- Strong fundamentals in software algorithms and object-oriented programming; ability to break complex problems into simpler sub-problems and reuse existing solutions.
- Experience with product binning methods, optimization techniques, data analysis, and statistics methods/tools is a plus.
