Details

As a key leader in system reliability, you will design and implement scalable, reliable solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams. You will lead cloud architecture initiatives, define release management strategies, and drive operational excellence. Your expertise will ensure proactive risk identification, system observability, and continuous improvement of critical platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of critical systems by implementing monitoring tools and automation.
  • Implement monitoring solutions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to automation efforts.
  • Design small-to-medium scale cloud infrastructure and develop CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define and maintain SLOs/SLIs and drive operational excellence, incident response, and capacity planning.
  • Lead cloud architecture initiatives and define release management strategies including branching and deployment automation.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers; influence cross-functional decisions and communicate technical trade-offs to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure management, with demonstrable contributions to complex digital products or systems.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms with strong understanding of networking, security, and operations management.
  • Mastery of Kubernetes and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible (or similar).
  • Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong software engineering or infrastructure design skills and leadership in agile delivery practices.
  • Certifications (examples): Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD) are mentioned as relevant/desired.
  • You are an independent problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership to solve challenging problems and mentor others.
