Details

As an intern in the Retail Banking Analytics team you will work with engineers building a model factory that enables data scientists to build machine learning models on public cloud (GCP) to predict customer behaviours. The aim of this internship is to gain hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team, develop tooling and architecture used by data scientists, and learn to balance engineering excellence with tight deadlines and stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

  • Convert business requirements to high-quality Python code
  • Collaborate with the team and senior engineers to design elegant and maintainable architectures
  • Deploy machine learning models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Engineer new features using ibis
  • Develop new machine learning pipelines

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Basic knowledge of Python programming
  • Knowledge of different software design patterns and when to use them
  • Interest in Software and Machine Learning engineering
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Fast learner and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
