Details

NVIDIA's deep learning platform is widely used across academia, startups and large Internet companies. This role focuses on customer enablement for NVIDIA enterprise datacenter products in workstation and server applications. The position requires working with customers and internal teams to resolve firmware and system management software issues, producing technical collateral, and providing best-in-class technical support to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system design reviews for datacenter applications to ensure partner designs meet NVIDIA guidelines for UEFI, BMC, platform security and system management services.
  • Produce customer collateral to enable partners to implement platform security, UEFI firmware and system management services for NVIDIA enterprise products.
  • Resolve system integration issues related to UEFI firmware, OS kernel optimization, and system management for out-of-band management services.
  • Conduct bring-up, development and debug of enterprise platform software on partner server designs.
  • Work directly with NVIDIA customers: analyze data, reproduce errors, resolve issues, or identify customer-side problems.
  • Participate in customer interactions via conference calls or face-to-face meetings.
  • Track and file new bugs and reproduce issues as needed.
  • Create technical specifications, software design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral.

Requirements

  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of x86 and ARM system architecture for server design, including OpenBMC, security and out-of-band management standards such as IPMI, MTCP, DMTF and Redfish.
  • Knowledge of secure boot and attestation architectures.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing enterprise UEFI firmware implementations on servers. Knowledge of TianoCore/UEFI is a plus.
  • Cultivated knowledge of Linux and comfort working in various Linux environments as well as with Windows OS.

Compensation

  • Base salary range:
    • Level 2: 108,000 USD - 184,000 USD
    • Level 3: 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
