Role summary

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to work in a semi-remote, globally distributed team. The role involves frontend work in the React ecosystem as well as backend development using languages such as Python, Go, or Java. Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of DevOps practices are required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain frontend applications within the React ecosystem using JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
  • Implement backend services using one or more of: Python, Go or Java.
  • Apply strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms to solve technical problems.
  • Follow DevOps practices, including Git-based workflows, CI/CD and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., UX) and work effectively in a semi-remote, globally distributed environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the React ecosystem. Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more back-end programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, monitoring.
  • Experience collaborating with other teams (for example, UX).
  • Excellent communication skills; capable of working collaboratively in a semi-remote, globally distributed team.

Nice to have / Extra points

  • Curious mindset; collaborative and passionate about helping others grow and improve.
  • Strong programming skills in Go.
  • Experience with building distributed, reactive applications.
  • Good understanding of databases, especially RDBMS.
  • Experience with message-oriented middleware (e.g., Kafka).
  • Experience with ELK stack.
