The Staking Data Team builds and maintains reliable blockchain data pipelines and APIs that support Coinbase's staking products, ensuring the accuracy and scalability of staking data, integrating new blockchain assets, and assisting in APY boosting technology. The team enables seamless staking experiences for retail and institutional users.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams across the company on integrations with our services
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug complicated problems
  • Design, build, scale, and maintain production services and compose service-oriented architectures

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Familiarity with Go (GoLang) and/or Ruby is a plus
  • Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining production services
  • Knowledge of composing service-oriented architecture and decomposing large software systems (experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to write high quality, well tested code
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about building an open financial system

Nice to haves

  • Crypto background
  • Experience with Solana data, indexing, and/or scaling large systems
  • Crypto-forward experience, including interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services

  • #LI-Remote — while many roles are remote-first, in-person participation is required throughout the year for team and company offsites
