This role is for a Software/CAD engineer focused on building solutions to boost productivity and efficiency of custom circuit designs. You will engage with multi-functional teams and work on pre-silicon and post-silicon hardware design data, automation of circuit design tasks, and building flows and methodology around vendor EDA tools.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a multi-functional team on projects involving pre-silicon and post-silicon hardware design and related data.
  • Support circuit design engineers by automating common design tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Build flows and methodology around vendor EDA tools and design collaterals to streamline design and verification workflows.
  • Work closely with design engineers to support existing development infrastructure and identify improvements and solutions.
  • Employ good software engineering practices to develop complex and scalable systems.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven knowledge in VLSI CAD flows and methodology.
  • Experience and background in VLSI.
  • Strong programming skills in multiple languages, including C++, Tcl, Python, Makefile or other scripting languages.
  • Good interpersonal skills, quick learner, proactive, innovative, highly motivated, and committed.

  • Enjoy working with multiple levels and teams across organizations.
  • Proven technical presentation skills.

Compensation & Other Details

  • Base salary ranges provided by location and level:
    • Level 2: 108,000 USD - 184,000 USD
    • Level 3: 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
