Software Engineer, Frontend (Advanced Trading Team)

At Coinbase we are building the emerging onchain platform and the future global financial system. The International Advanced Trading team is building “Coinbase Advanced” trading products for customers across the globe. Based in Singapore and India, the team focuses on derivatives and perpetual trading experiences across mobile and web with a goal of delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable products for top traders.

While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, this role is not remote-only — in-person participation is required throughout the year (team and company offsites are held multiple times annually).

Responsibilities

• Build and help design elegant, functional, and high-performance user experiences for web and mobile.
• Own and implement product features that directly drive revenue.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to convert product and technical vision into a quarterly roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
• Solve unique, large-scale, and highly complex technical problems.
• Work across the full stack when needed to deliver end-to-end solutions and ensure seamless integration and performance with backend teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing web applications and shipping user-facing features using JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks (e.g., React).
• Proven experience building and delivering user-facing features with modern UI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture best practices, including performance optimization, security, and usability.
• Experience collaborating across product and design lifecycles with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that serves real customer needs.
• Experience working on the backend, including building and maintaining APIs, integrating with databases, and contributing to server-side logic.
• Comfortable working across the full stack to deliver end-to-end solutions and collaborating with backend teams for seamless integration and performance.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working on trading systems.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, rate limiters, caching, metrics, logging, and debugging tools.

Pay Transparency

• Target annual salary range: 143,700 SGD — 143,700 SGD.
• Full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
