The Coinbase Canada team focuses on driving operations and growth across Canada by launching features tailored to the Canadian market, running localized marketing campaigns, and ensuring the Coinbase experience meets Canadian users' expectations. The team works on payment integrations, promotional efforts, and compliance-related flows (e.g., optimizing KYC flows). In-person participation is required throughout the year; team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually.

Responsibilities

• Build and help design elegant, functional, and high-performance user experiences.
• Own and implement product features that directly drive revenue for the company.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap each quarter.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
• Solve unique, large-scale, and highly complex technical problems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing web applications and shipping user-facing features using JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks (e.g., React).
• Proven experience building and delivering user-facing features with modern UI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture best practices, including performance optimization, security, and usability.
• Experience collaborating across product and design lifecycles with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that serves real customer needs.
• Experience working on the backend, including building and maintaining APIs, integrating with databases, and contributing to server-side logic.
• Comfortable working across the full stack to deliver end-to-end solutions and collaborating with backend teams for seamless integration and performance.

Nice to Haves

• Experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Fluency in both English and French.
• Comfortable with public speaking and participating in tech conferences.

Pay & Additional Info

• Job #: GCFE04CA
• Pay Range: $154,000 CAD per year
• Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).
• Coinbase is remote-first but not remote-only; in-person participation is required throughout the year.
