Software Engineer, Frontend (Consumer - Coinbase One)

Coinbase is hiring a frontend Software Engineer for Coinbase One, a membership product that provides benefits such as zero trading fees, boosted staking rewards, account protection, an account-linked credit card and priority support. The role is part of a remote-first organization but requires in-person participation throughout the year for team and company offsites and other collaboration events.

Responsibilities

• Build and help design elegant and functional user experiences.
• Own and implement product experiences that directly drive revenue for the company.
• Work with engineers, product managers and senior leadership to turn vision into a tangible quarterly roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with designers and cross-functional partners; add positive energy and inclusion in team interactions.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience developing web and/or mobile apps and shipping user-facing features with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with product and design lifecycles and close collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested, extensible code.
• Up-to-date knowledge of frontend architecture standards and best practices.
• Proactive mindset, growth orientation, and ability to empower and cultivate teammates.

Nice to haves

• Experience launching new products from 0 to 1.
• Experience on front-end teams in finance or security spaces.
• At least 1 year of experience developing React Native mobile apps or migrating native apps to React Native.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.

• Pay Range: $152,405 — $179,300 USD (target annual salary; full-time offers also include target bonus, target equity, and benefits).
