The Growth organization focuses on bringing the world onchain by building tools such as referral and incentives programs, a world-class notifications system, accessible logged-out web experiences, and optimized new user onboarding.

Coinbase seeks experienced frontend engineers to build the next generation of crypto-forward products and features and help make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone globally. While many roles are remote-first, in-person participation is required throughout the year for team and company-wide offsites.

Responsibilities

• Build and run experiments to power the growth of Coinbase’s retail products (growth experiments, A/B testing).
• Build engaging, dynamic, and accessible user experiences balancing ease-of-use and security.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a quarterly roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern component-based JS frameworks (e.g., React).
• Experience developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability.
• Experience collaborating through product and design lifecycles with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Strong emphasis on writing well-tested, high-quality code.

Nice to haves

• Experience launching new products from 0 to 1.
• Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience on front-end teams in the finance or security space.
• At least 1 year of experience developing React Native mobile apps or migrating native apps to React Native.
• Crypto-forward experience, including interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain services. Answers to crypto-related questions may be used to evaluate onchain experience.

Compensation

• Pay Range: 152,205 — 152,205 CAD (target annual salary). Full-time offers also include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
