Coinbase is building the next generation of crypto-forward products for global accessibility, including the Coinbase app, advanced trade, dapps, and staking within the Consumer Product Group.

Responsibilities

• Design secure and highly reliable services integrating with blockchains and adding new cryptocurrency assets to Coinbase, Pro, Custody, and other units.
• Build mass market interfaces for digital currency apps by adding functionalities like staking, voting, and predicting.
• Write infrastructural services for secure storage, accounting, and transactional services to help customers transfer assets safely.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to create quarterly roadmaps.
• Foster positive and inclusive energy in meetings and interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years developing web applications and shipping user-facing features using JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks like React.
• Experience shipping features with component-based UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end architecture trends including performance, security, and usability.
• Experience working closely with designers, engineers, and product managers through full product and design lifecycles.
• Ability to write high quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.

Nice to Haves

• Experience on front-end teams in finance or security.
• At least 1 year developing React Native mobile apps or migrating native apps to React Native.
• Familiarity with onchain activity, such as working with Ethereum addresses, ENS, dApps, or blockchain services.

Additional Information

• Yearly salary range: $152,405 - $179,300 USD plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
