Software Engineer, Frontend (Consumer - Trust and Loyalty)

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. The Trust & Loyalty team is building a new suite of products targeting high net worth individuals (HNWI) and works closely with the broader Coinbase One (CB1) team to create premium membership experiences that drive revenue and customer retention.

This role is part of a remote‑first organization but is not remote‑only — in‑person participation is required throughout the year (team and company offsites are held multiple times annually). Full time offers include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Responsibilities

• Build and help design elegant and functional user experiences for consumer-facing products.
• Own and implement product experiences that directly drive revenue for the company.
• Work with engineers, product managers and senior leadership to turn vision into a tangible quarterly roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers; contribute positive energy and inclusive behavior in team interactions.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience developing web applications and shipping user-facing features using JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks (for example, React).
• Practical experience developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability concerns.
• Experience working through product and design lifecycles and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Ability to write well-tested, maintainable code.

Nice to haves

• Experience building high-fidelity in-app chat experiences.
• Experience with crypto or financial exchanges.
• Crypto-forward experience: interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, engaging with dApps or other blockchain-based services.

Pay Transparency

• Target pay range (depending on work location): $147,000 — $174,000 USD per year.
• Full time offers also include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
