Software Engineer, Frontend (Consumer - Trust and Loyalty)

The Trust & Loyalty team is creating a new suite of products targeting high net worth individuals (HNWI) and working closely with the broader Coinbase One (CB1) team to deliver elevated, revenue-driving customer experiences.

This role is focused on frontend engineering: building elegant and functional user experiences that directly drive revenue and deliver differentiated membership experiences (e.g., elevated in-app experiences and white-glove services).

Responsibilities

• Build and help design elegant and functional user experiences for web applications.
• Own and implement product experiences that directly drive revenue for the company.
• Work with engineers, product managers, designers, and senior leadership to translate vision into a tangible roadmap each quarter.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute positively to team culture and collaboration.
• Participate in in-person team and company-wide events as required (Coinbase is remote-first but not remote-only).

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing web apps and shipping user-facing features using JavaScript and modern component-based JS frameworks (examples: React).
• Experience developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with front-end architecture best practices including performance, security, and usability concerns.
• Experience working within product and design lifecycles and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.

Nice to haves

• Experience building high-fidelity in-app chat experiences.
• Experience with crypto or financial exchanges.
• Experience or familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.

Pay Transparency

Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range: $147,000—$174,000 USD
