Responsibilities
- Shape the next generation of Onboarding Platform architecture that powers Coinbase.
- Articulate a long-term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling web and mobile platforms.
- Build trustworthy user experiences with simple, performant, and reliable interfaces using modern tools like React, React Native, Typescript, React Navigation.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to create and execute a roadmap.
- Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
- Contribute positive energy and inclusiveness in all team interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and component-based JS frameworks like React.
- Experience in shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
- Familiarity with front-end architecture best practices, including performance, security, and usability.
- Understanding of product and design lifecycles, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code addressing customer needs.
- Deep customer empathy for primary stakeholders.
