Responsibilities

  • Shape the next generation of Onboarding Platform architecture that powers Coinbase.
  • Articulate a long-term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling web and mobile platforms.
  • Build trustworthy user experiences with simple, performant, and reliable interfaces using modern tools like React, React Native, Typescript, React Navigation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to create and execute a roadmap.
  • Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and component-based JS frameworks like React.
  • Experience in shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with front-end architecture best practices, including performance, security, and usability.
  • Understanding of product and design lifecycles, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code addressing customer needs.
  • Deep customer empathy for primary stakeholders.
