Role Description

This role is part of the Platform Product Group focused on building trusted, scalable, and compliant platforms critical to Coinbase's operations. The Release team within Developer Experience is responsible for systems and processes that enable Coinbase engineers to build and deploy software safely and securely.

Responsibilities

• Learn, build, improve, and maintain build and deployment systems written in Golang.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant solutions using modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and leadership to form a tangible quarterly roadmap aligning product and technical vision.
• Provide exceptional customer support to internal engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining backend services and infrastructure.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code tailored to customer needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and deliver solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with crypto technology, including onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, ENS, and blockchain-based services or dApps.

Additional Information

• Pay Range: $152,205 — $179,300 USD annually plus target bonus, equity, and benefits.
