Details

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. The Cloud Provisioning team within DevX is responsible for the systems and processes that allow the rest of Coinbase engineers to provision infrastructure to run the many services that power Coinbase products in a simple, safe and secure manner.

While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, build, improve, and maintain cloud provisioning services written in Golang and Terraform.
  • Design scalable, fault-tolerant solutions to novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
  • Work with engineers and leadership to turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
  • Provide stellar customer support to internal engineers on cloud provisioning.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining backend services and infrastructure.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of customers.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to identify root causes and drive solutions.

Nice to have

  • Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.
