To achieve our mission, Coinbase is seeking interns & co-ops to join teams building new features that improve existing products (Coinbase.com, Custody, Wallet, NFTs, etc.) and to help with APAC expansion initiatives. You will solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems and help build the next generation of systems to make cryptocurrency accessible across web, iOS, and Android. Work involves operating real-time applications with high-frequency, low-latency updates, keeping the platform safe from fraud, enabling delightful experiences, and managing secure, dockerized infrastructure running in the cloud.

This is a 12-week internship during summer 2026. In-person participation is required throughout the year; team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually and attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap each quarter
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
• Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems
• Contribute to web, iOS, and Android products; operate low-latency, real-time systems; and work with cloud and containerized infrastructure

Requirements

• Experience with any object-oriented programming language (in a class, personal projects, or at a job)
• Enjoy thinking about how people interact with products and building experiences users love
• Self-motivated and committed to personal growth
• Positive approach to problem solving

Nice to haves

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, Rails
• Experience developing React Native mobile apps

Compensation

• Pay Range: $25 — $25 SGD (listed in the job posting under the Pay Transparency Notice)
